Wellbrooke of Wabash, the new Center for Health and Wellness located southeast of the intersection of Alber Street and U.S. 24, celebrated its grand opening Friday with a ribbon cutting and open house event for the public.
Wabash Mayor Robert Vanlandingham and representatives from the Wabash County Chamber of Commerce joined with Wellbrooke of Wabash partners Mainstreet Property Group, LLC and LCS™ to celebrate the occasion. Shortly after the ribbon cutting and reception, the Center welcomed over 1,000 guests from Wabash and the surrounding communities for an open house. Visitors were treated to personal tours of the Center, as well as the opportunity to meet staff members and ask questions.
“The turnout from the business community and the citizens of Wabash has been outstanding and we’re so appreciative,” said Wellbrooke of Wabash General Manager Chris Newport. “Seeing the finished product, and the reactions of those touring for the first time, is exciting. I’ve had so many people comment to me that it is unlike anything they’ve ever seen before.”
“This is a wonderful time for Wellbrooke of Wabash,” said Newport. “We have already had some residents in our service-rich apartments and long-term care suites move in, and we have also welcomed guests to our rehabilitative care suites. The unanimous response has been one of great appreciation for our intense focus on hospitality-driven health and wellness services.”
